Payroll Manager

Your new company
I am currently working on behalf of a large organisation with a global presence based in County Antrim to recruit a Payroll Manager to join the existing team. This is a family run organisation that has been in business for more than 60 years, employing more than 1000 staff across various sites across the UK.

Your new role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for a range of duties including:

• Operational control of both the weekly and monthly payrolls and management of the Payroll Supervisor
• Provide cover for the Payroll Supervisor and assist when required in the calculation of the payrolls, including the maintenance of the Kronos Time & Attendance System, calculation of holiday pay, etc.
• Preparation of weekly labour transfers between various departments
• Establishing working relationships with production, service and support departments
• Assess the technology currently utilised within the Payroll function and recommend enhancements where required

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you should possess at least 3 years recent & relevant broad-based experience within a Payroll environment with an advanced knowledge of Payroll systems. Applicants should possess excellent written and oral communication, time management & organisational skills, along with good attention to detail and be highly analytical.
