You'll be confident with running end to end, managing and processing monthly payroll for over 450 staff for all the UK sites on the time and attendance system. Knowledge and experience of payrolling various shift patterns, dealing with over time and internal shift swaps is essential.
If you work in a manufacturing environment or have done in the past using SAP, this would be an advantage although it's not essential.
You'll have UK payroll and pension experience and understand the legislation, this is also essential!
You have the ability to work independently and are happy to offer ideas for change or new processes that have worked for you in the past to add value - You will be listened to!
You'll work as part of a great internal finance team who are friendly and chatty, that will be important to you.
In return you will be offered flexible working so if you prefer to start at 7am and finish at 3.00pm for family commitments or may be your just an early riser. You may like an early gym session or to sleep later, so you could start at 10.00am and finish at 6.00pm. The choice is yours!
Because you have a lot of experience in a payroll position like this, building relationships comes second to none to you and you're able to build a rapport, so staff are more than confident when talking to you that you can help to resolves their payroll issues, queries on Income Tax, NI or year-end P11D. You will be the main point of contact for HMRC.
You will manage any changes to the starters and leavers, offering support to HR and International Finance. You WILL interact with lots of people on a daily basis.
You are ambitious, want to take accountability and can work very well under pressure to strict deadlines, this does not phase you.
