We are on the hunt for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a thriving manufacturing business, based in Portsmouth. - Solely managing monthly payroll for over 250 members of staff
- Processing new starters and leavers and dealing with P11Ds, P60s and P45s
- Calculating pay amendments, timesheets and holidays and dealing with SSP and related payments
- Liaising with HMRC, ensuring correct tax codes and any pay-related enquiries are resolved
- Communicating with employees regarding any queries
- Managing individual pension calculation
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Payroll Officer / Payroll Clerk / Payroll Manager / Payroll Administrator / HR & Payroll Officer
- Experience of independently processing payroll
- A working background in production or manufacturing would be ideal but not essential
- To be a confident communicator, comfortable with communicating with internal and external stakeholders
- Part-time, 30-hour week (4 days)
