Payroll Officer

Fast growing service business based in Manchester City Centre requires a Payroll Officer for their growing team. Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with HR this is an newly created role so an opportunity to make the role your own.

You will be the key point of contact and payroll administrator for all sites, based from the Manchester office based in the city centre.

Your responsibilities will be to ensure all aspects of payroll processing and implementation are accurate and in line with legal policies and procedures.

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Ensuring that each site payroll is managed and processed in an accurate and efficient way.
• Working with people operations and finance departments at each property to ensure all details are captured for effective closure of payroll.
• To ensure they are a system expert in HR and payroll systems.
• ability to process multiple payrolls so being able to prioritise is a must, along with a high attention to detail
• Working closely with the payroll system bureau to ensure pay runs run smoothly for all.
• The point of contact to help employees with pay queries and find effective ways for resolution.
• Supporting each property with scheduling and system queries.
• To maintain all payroll records in systems
• To ensure accurate reporting is delivered to team as and when needed.
• Maintain pension provider reconciliation.
• Maintain all pension systems queries for team members and properties.
• Ensure all Service charge and tronc payments are loaded correctly.
• Ensure all pay changes and updates and accurately input.
• Develop and maintain relationships with all property members and leaders to ensure up most confidence in the department.
• Processing all essential reports required

The right candidate for this role will have experience in payroll, be used to being the main point of contact internally for queries, used to running multiple payrolls and confident of your own ability.
