Payroll Officer, Part Time, Harrogate, £17ph

Are you currently working within payroll? Are you looking for a new challenge or maybe a change of sector within payroll.

Our client within the Education sector is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to supervise the payroll and pension functions to ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time.

Skills Required:

• Previous experience is essential.
• CIPP qualification advantageous
• Experience within the Education setting advantageous.
• High attention to detail
• Confident and proactive

Key Responsibilities:

• Process salary payments monthly.
• Calculate payments, checking and processing overtime.
• Making statuary payments
• Produce, analyse, and balance payroll reports.
• Manage internal schemes.
• Processing P45’s and P60’s.
• Ensuring HMRC compliance.
• Processing pension schemes
• Dealing with queries
• Additional duties such as dealing with auditors.
