Payroll Officer

A large, growing business in Warrington has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join their team.

As Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of multiple payrolls for the Group. You will enjoy working in a a warm, engaging, lively, and focussed culture. Plus, have the chance to step up to cover the Payroll Manager during the implementation of a new payroll system in Q4. Payroll Officer duties will include:

• Processing multiple weekly and monthly payrolls (end-to-end)
• Checking the integrity of payroll data received
• Liaising with key stakeholders across the business regarding payroll data
• Processing statutory payments - SSP, SMP, SPP, ShPP, SAP
• HMRC reports and payments - Tax, NI, PAYE, FPS, EPS, RTI

Payroll Officer experience will have:

• 2+ years end-to-end payroll experience
• Experience of payroll software
• Diligent
• Highly numerate and accurate
• Excellent communicator
• Driven and motivated

Payroll Officer salary and benefits include:

• £25,000 to £30,000 per annum
• 25 days holiday + bank holiday
