Job Description

  • Manage payroll inputting by Shared Service team processing for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Calculate salary, overtime, adhoc bonuses, and deductions.
  • Process payroll adjustments, if necessary.
  • Utilize and maintain payroll software systems to process payroll efficiently.
  • Collaborate with our wider Shared Service Team to implement system updates or improvements.
  • Maintaining high standards in responses to customers in ServiceNow while using initiative to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for crucial payroll tickets & effective customer service.
  • Collaborate with wider HR team regarding confidential payroll queries from the wider HR team.
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc reports on payroll metrics and trends.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure payroll accuracy
  • Provide payroll input training and support to Shared Service Specialists.

Qualifications

You will have experience processing payroll to strict deadlines (inputting and initial checks), with a track record of consistently meeting cut off dates, and delivering accurate payroll. You will have planning/project management skills.

You will have a customer focused mindset, meeting customer requirements and agreed SLAs. You will ideally have experience supporting and training a team to deliver a payroll service. You will have stakeholder management skills (both internal teams and external vendors). You are proactive in identifying and acting upon improvement opportunities.

You are committed to your own development and growth, identifying gaps in your experience and knowledge to continuously improve own performance.
