Payroll Specialist

Xenial Consulting are pleased to be working with a long-standing client of ours, based in East London who are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for the end-to-end running of both the weekly and monthly payroll. Duties will include the following:

• Processing weekly and monthly payroll
• Weekly and monthly pension and RTI update
• P60, P11d and P46 Submission
• Company car taxation
• Salary sacrifice benefit processing
• Managing new starters, leavers, amendments
• Submitting monthly and weekly pensions
• Carrying out manual calculations (SSP, SMP, Tax, NI, Overpayments)
• Sound working knowledge of RTI and auto-enrolment
• Dealing with staff queries about pay dates, absences, timesheets, enquiries regarding pay amounts
• Keeping abreast of any changes in UK legislation to ensure the Company is compliant at all times
• Processing statutory payment, attachment orders and other earnings/deductions
• Liaising with HMRC for PAYE queries
• Assisting with Ad hoc Projects as set by the Group Accountant or Finance Director

You will have previous experience of running full end-to-end payroll along with advanced Excel skills and in-depth payroll knowledge. This role is ideally for an immediate start but candidates on notice with the relevant skill-set will also be considered.
