Payroll Specialist, Guildford, (Hybrid), £35,000-£40,000+ Strong benefits
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in payroll software, and a deep understanding of payroll regulations and compliance. The Payroll Specialist will work closely with the HR department and finance team to guarantee payroll accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
Responsibilities for the Payroll Specialist:
- Execute end-to-end payroll processing activities and P60s
- Generate monthly reports, such as pension reporting or headcount reporting.
- Stay updated with relevant tax regulations, liaising with HMRC when required.
- Generate P11D for year-end reporting.
- Onboarding of new starters into the payroll system.
- Conduct audits of payroll data to identify and correct any discrepancies.
- Generate BACS payments for salaries & pension payments.
Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is preferred not mandatory
- 3+ years of experience in relevant roles, ideally high volume.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
