Currently working with a fantastic Client based in Manchester who are looking for a Payroll Specialist.
Working hours are - Full time Monday to Friday, Temp contract, Hybrid
Responsibilities:
As Payroll Specialist your key responsibilities will include:
- Administer the monthly payroll
- Data entry
- Submission of Payroll information to the Payroll Bureau
- Provide first line support service to colleagues and Line Managers
- Be responsible for all management and support changes are actioned
- Coordinate the new starter and leaver payroll process
- Complete end of month payroll processing
- Administer pension Auto-enrolment
- Communicate all sickness, paternity/maternity leave to the payroll bureau
- Assist with requests for reporting or Stats for the business
- Investigative projects and systems improvements when necessary
Key skills
- Recent and Relevant payroll experience
- Up to date UK employment tax knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Computer literate with working Microsoft packages knowledge
- High attention to detail and accuracy
