Finance And Payroll Assistant

Your new company
Our client is amulti-academy trust with schools across Greater Manchester. They are lookingfor a Finance and Payroll Assistant to support to Finance and Payroll teams.
Your new role
You will be responsible for:

• All aspects ofaccounts payable
• Posting credit cardtransactions
• Making payments tosuppliers.
• Posting all banktransactions and producing monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist in thedepartmental budget monitoring reports
• Responsiblefor the entry of timesheets and expenses
• Checkingand validation of all timesheets, then submission into the payroll
• To supportthe Payroll and Pensions Manager in validating in running and checkingpayroll/payslips

What you'll need to succeed
You will have:

• Educatedto at least A level or equivalent qualification
• GCSE Mathsand English at Grades 9 - 4 or equivalent
• Minimum of3 years' experience working within Finance and accounting, with specificexperience in purchase order processing and accounts payable
• Experienceof processing transactional payroll data and checking payroll output
• Desirable:Experience of working in a school or multi academy trust finance environment
