Job Title: Subcontract Ledger and Payroll Coordinator
Location: Bolton
Salary: Up to £28k
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organised individual to join our client's team as a Subcontract Ledger and Payroll Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Payroll:
- Process weekly payroll for multiple companies with high attention to detail.
- Handle documentation filing and scanning in our document management system.
- Set up new starters and ensure accurate payroll setup.
- Manage holiday pay, sick pay, maternity, and paternity pay calculations.
Subcontract Ledger:
- Perform pre-processing and payment checks, including CIS verification and insurance validation.
- Efficiently sort operated plant hire invoices, match, batch, and code them.
- Verify costs for approval and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit monthly CIS returns.
- Reconcile monthly statements and year-end supplier statements.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in subcontract ledger and payroll functions.
- Familiarity with CIS compliance rules, ideally gained from working in a construction company.
