Are you an experienced payroll professional with exceptional leadership skills? I am working with a client who are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Payroll Team Leader. As the Payroll Team Leader, you will play a vital role in managing and overseeing the payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of payroll services.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of 4 payroll specialists, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, including salary calculations, deductions, and benefits.
- Provide advice and guidance on Payroll queries from employees, HMRC and other 3rd parties
- Liaise internal with other documents to deliver exceptional service
- Highly continuous improvements to the HR and Payroll processes to drive continual service improvement
Requirements:
- Proven experience in payroll administration, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and software, ideally Oracle
- CIPP qualified would be desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
