Role: Payroll Specialist
Full-time: Monday to Friday
Hybrid Work: 2-3 days in the office
Location: Offices based in the Bexleyheath area

Role Purpose:
Ensure accurate and timely payment of employee wages across the company. Perform administrative payroll duties to maintain smooth payroll operations. Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payments and timesheets. Manage payroll-related clerical tasks and undertake complex duties such as payroll auditing and policy development.

Financial Accuracy and Trust:
Process employee payments accurately and efficiently.
Handle sensitive salary information with discretion and trustworthiness.
Adapt payroll processes to meet evolving business needs.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and excellence.
Communication and Collaboration:
Collaborate effectively with HR, Finance, and Operations teams across regions.
Address employee inquiries about pay and benefits in a friendly manner.
Ensure compliance with tax and social security regulations through effective communication with external payroll providers.
Drive process improvements in collaboration with relevant departments.
Systems Proficiency and Process Management:
Master Payrite payroll software for generating required reports.
Ensure accurate processing of new hires and departures, maintaining complete documentation.
Calculate employee pay accurately, considering hours worked and deductions.
Manage electronic payments and oversee approval processes.
Efficiently handle leave payments and PAYE deductions.
Distribute necessary forms promptly to employees.
Stay updated on industry trends in payroll management and software systems.
Person Specification:
Experience & Skills:
Minimum of 3 years experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
Experience with Payright system (HRIS) preferred.
Excellent proficiency in Payroll software.
Strong numeracy skills.
Proficient in Excel (including VLOOKUP), Word, and PowerPoint.
