Hr & Payroll Specialist

Up to £35k DOE

Full time, permanent position

Pearson Whiffin are currently recruiting for a HR and Payroll Coordinator on behalf of our client, a global manufacturing company who are a leader within their field.

Duties:

• Maintain HR and payroll computerised systems, including databases and payroll software.
• Execute payroll operations, including processing, data management, and liaising with tax authorities.
• Generate reports from HR and payroll systems for managerial review and benefit renewals.
• Administer company benefits and oversee renewal processes.
• Manage pension-related tasks such as onboarding, changes, and terminations.
• Facilitate maternity leave processes, from initial meetings to maintaining contact during leave.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees on benefits, sick leave, and employment-related matters.
• Handle general HR administrative tasks, including recruitment, occupational health coordination, and employee wellbeing initiatives.
• Prepare and distribute HR metrics reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned.

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience in payroll processing and HR administration.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in HR and payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A good sense of humour!
