As a Payroll Specialist you will be managing all aspects of payroll in line with all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing new starters and leavers
- Inputting data
- Processing sick pay, SSP / SMP / SPP and Shpp
- Provide updates/ reports on payroll
- Preparing BACS payment file
- Supporting with payroll queries
- Check administrators to make sure all work is completed correctly
- Accurate processing of the pension
- Carrying out payroll year end activities
- Always looking for ways to improve processes
Experience Required:
- Previously processed in-house payroll from start to finish
- Experience in analysing data
- Worked in a high volume payroll team
- Managed and resolved payroll queries
- Great attention to detail
- Experience working in a fast paced role
- Advanced Excel knowledge (Pivot Tables, Vlookup, IF statements)
