The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Systems Project Officer to join the Payroll team. The Payroll Systems Project Officer will work with the Group Payroll Manager to deliver the implementation of payroll projects including onboarding new schools and colleges on iTrent, MCR implementation and resolving all systems technical issues. They will assist the Group Payroll Manager with the accurate and timely production of the monthly payroll runs, including the production of all reports and third-party payments.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will be a CIPP professional or have a relevant Project Management qualification or willingness to study to undertake further CPD. They will have substantial experience of iTrent (Midland HR) payroll implementation/onboarding projects work and a strong understanding of the full payroll process and working knowledge of PAYE, NICs, SSP and Family Leave regulations and procedures.
The candidate will have the flexibility to adapt to changing workload demands and new challenges along with the ability to work as a team player and work on their own initiative.
