Payroll Team Leader

My client has identified the need for a Payroll Team Leader to join the team function on a permanent basis. We therefore seek an experienced and responsible individual, with enthusiasm and ability to take on new challenges, manage a team and help support the payroll function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage team and workload to ensure all work is processed in a timely manner
• Training and mentoring of team
• Teams escalated queries
• Manage the upload of Leavers and absences
• Month end reporting
• Ensure all exception reports are checked pre payroll run
• Ensure all variable data has been accurately input
• Ensure that all pre Gross to net checks are performed to a high degree of accuracy
• Approve faster payment calculations from the administrators for payment outside of the normal payroll.
• Ensuring awareness of internal and external audit items that are raised
• Complete pension reconciliations
