Payroll/HR Administrator

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage the complete payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payment to all employees.
  • Maintain and update payroll records with the utmost accuracy.
  • Calculate and process special payments such as bonuses and holiday pay.
  • Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies or queries from employees promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and internal policies.
  • Run the monthly payroll end-to-end, including preparation and submission of payroll reports.
  • Stay updated on new payroll technology and best practices to continuously improve payroll operations.
  • Calculate commissions and bonuses, ensuring correct and fair compensation.
  • Manage holiday and sickness absence records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Provide HR administrative support and maintain HR documentation.
  • Verify and check invoices for accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide cover for facilities management as needed.
  • Process employee expense claims, ensuring adherence to company policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in payroll administration.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills to effectively handle queries and discrepancies.
  • Knowledge of payroll software and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with HR documentation and administrative support.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
