Day-to-day of the role:- Manage the complete payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payment to all employees.
- Maintain and update payroll records with the utmost accuracy.
- Calculate and process special payments such as bonuses and holiday pay.
- Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies or queries from employees promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and internal policies.
- Run the monthly payroll end-to-end, including preparation and submission of payroll reports.
- Stay updated on new payroll technology and best practices to continuously improve payroll operations.
- Calculate commissions and bonuses, ensuring correct and fair compensation.
- Manage holiday and sickness absence records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
- Provide HR administrative support and maintain HR documentation.
- Verify and check invoices for accuracy and compliance.
- Provide cover for facilities management as needed.
- Process employee expense claims, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Proven experience in payroll administration.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills to effectively handle queries and discrepancies.
- Knowledge of payroll software and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with HR documentation and administrative support.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
