PCB Design Engineer

We are currently hiring for a Senior PCB Design Engineer to be based 1 day per week in Milton Keynes.
Our client is an exciting technology start up looking to grow their team of Engineers out ahead of 3 key projects.
They are on the cusp of commercialising the most efficient power technology on the planet with applications in multi-billion dollar strong-growth global markets ranging from super-efficient lighting to data centre computing.

The key responsibilities of this PCB Design Engineer job based in Milton Keynes are:

• Schematic Design: Develop and capture circuit schematics in Altium.


• PCB Layout: Design and route PCB layouts for optimal performance.


• Design Verification: Perform design rule checks and validate the PCB design.


• Library Management: Maintain and update component libraries.


• Collaboration and Documentation: Work with teams and prepare design documentation.

The successful applicant will have a combination of the following:

• Strong expertise in physical design and computer-aided design (CAD) using Altium


• Familiarity with Altium tools and software


• Power Supply (SMPS) Layout experience preferred
