The Company: Our Client, an innovative dynamic passionate reliable collaborator for public safety users and commercial customers, my client excels in adapting to the evolving landscape of the Voice Communication Sector.
Due to sustained continued expansion they now require a PCB Design Engineer to take responsibility for whole lifecycle of PCB product development from concept and prototype stages, through to production and support. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Layout of highly integrated PCBs and working with other teams to ensure layouts are optimised for performance, EMC and manufacture
- Creating new component symbols and footprints and helping with library management
- Updating designs to improve manufacturability and testability
The Person: Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following:
- A HNC /HND or Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline. Or be a Time Served Engineer with relevant experience.
- Proficient user skills with one or more modern PCB CAD tools, including good working knowledge of using Altium Designer
- Knowledge and experience of design for manufacture and test
- Design review experience for schematics and layouts
You will be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills both written and oral, be computer literate, and able to work as part of a team.
