Salary QC Technician/ Laboratory Technician
Location: Wirral
Type: Permanent
Salary: Ranging from £24,000 - £26,000 depending on experience
Additional: 25 days holiday + BH, 8% pension (full contribution provided), flexitime, upto 10% bonus depending on company performance)
Our Client, an medical device manufacturer are looking for a QC Technician to work at their modern site based on the Wirral. Full training will be provided, we are looking to speak to candidates with an excellent work ethic and transferable skills in PCR/ DNA handling.
The Role:-
• Operation of Genetix Qarray instruments for fabrication of microarrays
• Operation of Inspectaspot instruments for inspection of fabricated arrays
• Operation of Mr Spot instruments, for testing of fabricated arrays.
• Operation of generic laboratory equipment.
• Undertaking of all quality control processes.
• Documentation of all activities according to the defined quality system (ISO13485).
• Cleaning and maintenance of laboratories and equipment according to SOPs.
• Maintenance of timesheets
Ther Person:
• Honours degree in a Life science subject
• Good time keeping
• Good organisational skills
• Full knowledge of Microsoft office.
• Willingness to take on any task.
