PCV Driver

We’re seeking PCV Drivers to join us here at Bristol Airport.

You’ll be responsible for driving our shuttle buses; being that friendly face to our passengers whilst delivering them safely to and from the terminal. We have a variety of contracts to suit; , permanent and fixed term roles available.

There are some important things to know before you apply. The role is shift based, meaning you’ll work two 12-hour day shifts then two 12-hour night shifts (start and finish times do vary) followed by four days off. Bristol Airport is a 24-7-365 operation, so at times you may work weekends & bank holidays if your shifts fall on these days. Please be mindful of this before submitting your application.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive our Airport buses around the site and on public roads, maintaining impeccable standards of driving and a focus on passenger safety and comfort.
• Carry out daily inspections on systems and equipment fitted to the PCV fleet, including daily inspection vehicle checks, refuelling and daily upkeep of vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service, always representing the airport values.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to enquires from passengers together with internal and external stakeholders.
• You’ll work with our Ground Transportation Operations Coordinators to respond to situations and incidents swiftly and efficiently.

ABOUT YOU:

• Fully licenced PCV Driver, with valid CPC qualification, and assessed as a safe and careful driver
• Organised with the ability to prioritise and take a proactive approach to problem solving 
• Full UK or EU driving licence to cover manual and automatic vehicles 
• Availability to work in shifts including weekends
• A great communicator with the ability to adapt your style to meet the needs of the audience
