Title: PDI Engineer

Location: Southampton

Shift: Days (Mon – Fri)

Salary: Up to £34,000 basic + Bonus and commission scheme

A great opportunity has arisen for a PDI Engineer to join my client’s busy site in the Southampton area.

This role would suit someone looking to build on their existing experience of engines, transmissions, hydraulics and electrics.

The PDI Engineer will be responsible for the following:

• Carrying our services, repairs and updates on existing construction machinery.

• Recording and logging defaults and checks.

• Communicating accurately with the Engineering team.

• Upholding the company image.

The ideal candidate for the PDI Engineer will have the following skills:

• A sound mechanical knowledge in plant equipment (Diggers, Dumpers, Telehandlers etc).

• Some hydraulic and electrical experience.

• The ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
