Description
We have a fantastic opportunity in Leeds for a PDI Technician, you will be within our busy workshop team carrying out PDIs on vehicles to an approved standard.
Big Motoring World Group is an expanding dealer group that is going from strength to strength and is looking to employ a PDI Technician at our Preparation Centre in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast and progressive moving group as well as working alongside lots of other experienced technicians to help and support.

What we offer
Work Shift Pattern is 8:00am – 17:30pm (Monday – Friday)
Contracted Hours 42.5 hours per week
Salary Base: £33,600 (based on experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities
Carrying out routine general servicing and mechanical repairs
Following PDI Process and Procedures in line with company standard
Carry out all tasks in line with your skills and the business requirements, to the highest quality standards at all times
Complete the final quality check on all vehicles, then off the car goes to have a fresh MOT licence
Maintain high standards of house-keeping
Person specification
The skill range can be level 2 or level 3 qualification
Full UK Driving Licence is required
Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
Literate, numerate and proficient computer skills
Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details
Demonstrates an honest and diligent approach to work
Prior experience of working to efficiency targets
Take pride and responsibility for your own appearance as well as the appearance and organisation of the site in which you work
Team player
VOSA approved MOT tester also an advantage but not essential
Dealer experience preferable but not essential
Your own set of Tools (Toolbox supplied)
