Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our team of dedicated professionals in Braintree. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality PE lessons to students aged 11-16.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons to students of all abilities.
- Monitor and assess student progress and provide regular feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the curriculum is being delivered effectively.
- Contribute to the development of the PE department.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care.
Essential Criteria
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the PE curriculum.
- Experience of teaching PE at secondary level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience of leading a PE department.
- Experience of teaching GCSE and/or A-Level PE.
- A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in PE or a related subject.
