We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our esteemed school community in Saltley, Birmingham. The position is available for an immediate start, focusing on teaching Physical Education to secondary school students.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Secondary PE Education:** Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Physical Education, fostering a love for physical activity and promoting a healthy lifestyle among secondary school students.
2. **Curriculum Development:** Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Physical Education curriculum, ensuring alignment with the needs and interests of our diverse student body.
3. **Extra-Curricular Activities:** Actively participate in and lead extra-curricular sports and physical activities, encouraging student involvement and promoting a positive and active school culture.
4. **Assessment and Progress Monitoring:** Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their physical and academic development.
**Qualifications and Requirements:**
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Physical Education or a related field.
- Experience teaching Physical Education at the secondary level.
- Passion for promoting physical activity and well-being among students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative mindset and adaptability in a team-oriented teaching environment.
