GSL Education is currently seeking passionate individuals to join us as PE Teaching Assistants in vibrant schools across Hounslow. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support the delivery of physical education and inspire young minds to lead healthy and active lives.
Responsibilities as a PE Teaching Assistant:
- Assist PE teachers in planning and delivering engaging and inclusive physical education lessons.
- Support students during practical activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Provide one-on-one support to students who may require additional assistance or encouragement.
- Help set up equipment and facilities for PE lessons and sports events.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to organize extracurricular sports clubs and events.
Requirements for PE Teaching Assistants:
- Passion for physical education and promoting an active lifestyle among students.
- Previous experience working with children or young people is advantageous.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude towards supporting students' physical development.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Basic knowledge of sports and fitness principles.
- Relevant qualifications in sports coaching or physical education are desirable but not essential.
