Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Penetration Tester. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of our computer systems and networks to identify vulnerabilities that could be exploited by malicious actors. This role is pivotal in strengthening our security posture by simulating cyber-attacks, identifying weak points, and providing actionable solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute penetration tests on our software, networks, and computer systems.
- Identify and exploit vulnerabilities in applications and network infrastructures.
- Develop and implement testing methodologies to simulate advanced cyber-attacks.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings and provide recommendations for security enhancements.
- Work closely with the IT security team to validate the effectiveness of security measures post-implementation.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry trends.
- Conduct security assessments of third-party vendors and other external partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Penetration Tester or similar role.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, cryptography, payloads, and exploit writing.
- Familiarity with penetration testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, OWASP).
- Knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Perl.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to document and explain technical details clearly.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH) are highly desirable.
