Our Edinburgh based client, is looking for an enthusiastic and driven, part timePeople & Culture Manager to join their team on an initial one-year fixed-term contract with the option to extend. In this varied standalone role, you will report to the COO. You will deliver a series of people projects while also supporting day-to-day people and culture activities. You will be happy to switch between the strategic and the operational (and everything in between!) and will bring ideas and initiative to the table to make the role your own.
You might be working at People and Culture Manager or Business Partner level already or be an experienced Senior Advisor ready to take a step up.
This is a 3 day working week with a need to be in the office every Tuesday and Wednesday with the 3rd day working from home.
Duties

  • Day to Day People and Culture Management - Ensuring the smooth running of all day-to-day People and Culture functions and be the go-to expert for all queries. You will manage the full spectrum of day-to-day HR activities.
  • People and Culture Reporting - You will be responsible for reporting on the status of all people and culture related projects and activity to the Leadership Team and other stakeholders.
  • Business Partnering - Business Partnering across the organisation to support on all business activity. Provide support to all managers to ensure that our culture is imbedded in every aspect of the business and that pureLiFi continues to be a brilliant place to work.
  • Relationship Building - Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all 3rd parties and suppliers.
  • Legal Compliance - Ensuring legal compliance, auditable processes and ethical employment practices always.

Key Deliverables
During your time with the business, there will be a key focus on the following areas for which you will act as project lead and facilitate all implementation:
  • Driving employee voice and engagement activities
  • Delivering Workplace certification in 2024
  • Embedding and maximising the use of our HRIS and ATS systems BOB and Workable
  • Adapting and developing people processes to complement the HRIS and to support our ISO 9001 certification.
  • Supporting Managers with recruitment activity

Essential Skills
  • Are CIPD level 7 qualified (or working towards) or hold a similar qualification.
  • Have the breadth of People and Culture knowledge and experience in a true generalist role, including employee relations, culture and engagement, recruitment, L&D, performance management, benefits etc.
  • Enjoy engaging with a diverse employee group, including engineers and colleagues from around the world.
  • Are an adaptable self-starter with outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Enjoy coming up with new ideas and putting your own stamp on a role.

Desirable Skills
  • Have experience of supporting managers up to and including C-suite
  • Have experience working in a standalone role.
