Job description

🤔 About the Role:

As the People Experience Coordinator at Suvera you will be providing important support for the People Team and wider company. 

You’ll continuously optimise all important lifecycle events for our people from onboarding to performance development and offboarding. 

You'll play a key role in creating a positive and highly efficient work environment by coordinating various activities internally with and for our teams and externally for candidates. You are highly organised and detail oriented and will maintain HR compliance in all aspects and handle administrative and operational People and HR tasks.

You care deeply about data integrity and accuracy and always find ways to improve and optimise what we do, automating activities where possible to create positive impact with human interactions where it matters most. 

This role will report to the Head of People and will be compensated with a base salary between £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience and qualifications. This is a hybrid role with an expectation of spending 1-2 days in our London office per week, based in Liverpool Street.

Suvera is a digital health start-up on a mission to keep people in good health wherever they are in the world. We partner with general practices in the UK to deliver a virtual clinic that proactively supports the management of patients with long-term conditions. Today, we manage over 190,000 patients and have a robust pipeline to more than 5x that by the end of 2024. We have merely scratched the surface for what we can do for both clinical operations and chronic care pathways.
We have a team of phenomenal advisors, including Professor Bryan Williams who is the chair of Medicine at UCL and the man behind high blood pressure guidelines for the UK. We are a small (c. 80 people) cross-functional team from all backgrounds, and have our our own internal Care Team which employs both clinicians and care advisors.
We are backed by Google for Startups and the preeminent, global healthcare and technology venture capital firm Morningside Ventures, led by Dr. Gerald Chan. We have ambitions to become the largest healthcare provider in the world. 

💻 What you'll be doing :

  • Respond to people queries - you are the first point of contact for our team members for general people related queries by email, in-person and on Slack. You respond quickly and effectively to queries and escalate matters as appropriate
  • Own the administration of
    • Engagement - Support with the setup and data analysis of any engagement surveys as well as the preparation of result packs for stakeholders
    • Benefits - ensuring people are on/offboarded, all general queries are responded to and data is accurate
    • HRIS - ensuring the accuracy of our data on a regular basis, sending letters at various lifecycle stages and keeping profiles and documents up to date
    • Payroll - supporting the preparation of payroll data with reporting and updates as required
  • Support hiring - organising communication and interviews for hiring managers and candidates.
  • Support performance management - Setting up performance review processes and supporting managers with organising performance events. Gathering any people feedback on processes and continuously improve them
  • Create data and insights - Support the people team with reports and analytics such as retention, attrition and absenteeism. Market and industry research and analysis to influence internal direction and decision making on evolving our culture and processes

👀 We're looking for someone who:

You are at the centre of the company, great at building relationships with everyone and creating a lasting first impression for new joiners and building a positive reputation for being reliable and trusted.

You know how to prioritise work and are able to set and manage clear expectations with stakeholders and teams.

Should have:

  • 1-2 years of experience in an HR role, ideally in a growing organisation
  • Experience working with HRIS systems
  • Experience with general people processes and onboarding team members
  • A basic understanding of UK employment law or a strong interest in learning and maintaining knowledge
  • A proactive approach to work, learning and implementing new skills to
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills

Nice to haves:

  • Knowledge using HiBob would be a bonus
  • Previous experience in a scaling Technology company
