This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working - such as being onsite when necessary to work with people and collaborate, then working from home and around family commitments to be your most efficient. Typically this could be 3 days a week in the office (on average.)
This role could be full time or part time: 4 or 5 days per week. We are flexible and accommodating.
The opportunity:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a proven People Manager who is passionate about managing the performance and development of our people to lead our Engineering Project Management Group.
We're looking for a leader who has an appreciation of engineering and Project Management with passion, focus, drive and the vision to lead a team to deliver successfully.
This is a great opportunity to join Electronics Engineering organisation on a 12 month fixed term contract and play a major role in shaping its future.
Your role will be to:
- Provide leadership and functional line management for our Engineering Project Manager (EPM) team, to meet a dynamic environment delivering equipment critical to the defence of our nation and its front line forces.
- Lead and support the EPMs to deliver complex engineering solutions on time, on cost, on quality.
- Develop the team's capability, motivate, retain, and grow the team to meet the workload forecast and delivery needs of the business.
- Deliver high quality development and performance evaluations in order to maximise the potential of our people for today and for the future.
- Initiate and manage EPM development and generic delivery team improvement initiatives.
