They are seeking a Regional People Manager to cover maternity leave on a 12-month FTC basis. Due to their presence being across the North West, you can expect occasional travel to sites but be mainly located in the Manchester and Preston offices on a hybrid working model.
Your new roleAs a People Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day human resources operations within the organisation. This position requires a strong understanding of HR polices and procedures. In this role you will lead a team of two direct reports and collaborate with other departments to ensure effective HR practice. You will also support the head of HR to develop and implement an effective HR strategy that aligns with the firm's business goals.
What you will need to succeed
- Generalist HR experience operating at a Manager/BP level
- Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment
- Able to influence change
- Must display credibility and a 'can do' attitude
- Self-management/ personal motivation
