Your Role:
  • Be the trusted advisor in our dynamic HR landscape, influencing senior management across our sites.
  • Champion our people strategy, from engagement to succession planning, breathing life into our strategic objectives.

  • Elevate our recruitment, onboarding, and employee development practices, shaping the future of our workforce.
  • Advocate for employee engagement, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Support the ED&I agenda, ensuring Breedon is a place where diversity is celebrated and inclusion is the norm.

  • Benefits: Competitive package including car allowance, generous holidays, pension, health & wellbeing initiatives, and more.

Experience Overview

At Breedon Group, we value the strength that diversity brings to our team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, able to navigate the complexities of HR with confidence and innovation.
Below, we've outlined the key experiences and skills that will help you succeed in this role:
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to work closely with senior management.
  • HR Systems Knowledge: Skilled in using HRIS and ATS for operational effectiveness.
  • Redundancy Programme Management: Knowledgeable in handling redundancy programmes with sensitivity.
  • Organisational Skills: Highly organised and efficient, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-Sufficient: Able to stand alone and initiate actions based on strategic objectives.
  • Flexibility: Adaptable and proactive, with a detail-oriented approach.
  • CIPD Level 5: Desirable qualification, though not essential.
  • Employee Relations: Experience in managing ER issues, positioned towards strategic support and resolution.
