Oakleaf Partnership are working with a large retail business who are seeking a People Partner to join and support their footprint across Derbyshire, Cheshire, Staffordshire. Areas you will be travelling to will be Chester, Wolverhampton, Stoke on Trent, Stafford, Shrewsbury, Wrexham.
The role joins the business during a transformative journey and will drive strategic people initiatives, foster a high-performance culture, and contribute to positive business outcomes. The role offers an opportunity to make a tangible impact. Travel will be required across the following regions three days a week.
What is the role?
As a People Partner, you will report into and work with the Head of People Partnering for Retail and partner with senior leaders across the region to translate business strategy into people plans and act as a trust partner to support both functional and geographic plans. The role will lead, coach and engage leaders for a high-performance culture, and embed business change, ways of working and behaviours, whilst identifying, nurturing and building efficient talent capabilities. It will be essential to build and maintain meaningful relationships that drive the business forward.
Candidate profile / Experience
The successful candidate will have proven experience as a People Partner in a fast paced, and complex, commercial organisation. You will have experience creating and delivering people plans in collaboration with centres of excellent and leading on delivery across a multi-site region. You will have strong background as a generalist and have experience of owning the people plan across your business unit and multiple sites. You will need to be used to working in a regional capacity and working with multiple directors.
