People & Safety Coordinator

A fantastic and rare opportunity for an experienced HR administrator to join our small and friendly People and Health & Safety team, driving improvements for our employees!

About the role

To provide efficient and effective administrative support to employees and managers in all areas of the service offering, including people management issues, recruitment, learning & development, and health & Safety. Partnering with wider team colleagues to drive a comprehensive and holistic service offering.

To be successful, you'll have:

• Demonstrable HR administration experience on the full range of workplace employment matters, with a sound understanding of HR/Payroll/benefit administration
• Detailed knowledge of computerised systems
• Highly organised with keen attention to detail, an ability to deliver to deadlines and to prioritise effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Desirable: Level 3 in Business Admin or equivalent, or preferably CIPD Level 3 or working towards

Our offer to you

Salary: £25k per year pro rata (£12.96 per hour)

Working Hours: 25.5 hours per week. Pattern to be agreed, but must include Tuesdays at our Chy Trevail office in Bodmin, and Fridays (working from home or office as preferred).

Contract Type: Permanent

Base: Hybrid Working – With an office base in Bodmin

We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of all our service users, clients and customers. This role is subject to a basic DBS check.  If the role is working with vulnerable individuals and/or children and young people, you will be asked to complete a relevant DBS check to be successfully appointed to the role.
