People Services Change and Improvement Coordinator

The GMC are recruiting People Services Change and Improvement Coordinator to join our People Operations team based in our Manchester offices located in Spinningfields. This will be on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Summary of the role and main responsibilities

  • To play a leading role in providing support and lead continuous improvement projects and development opportunities that includes changes to our HR system. You will develop and build relationships with colleagues within the People Operations, Resourcing and Payroll teams.
  • To coordinate people related administration ensuring that payroll deadlines and SLAs are met, and the work is delivered accurately and to a high standard adhering to the principle every interaction matters.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Can deliver continuous improvement projects effectively. You’ll have experience of leading and delivering change initiatives, continuous improvements projects/system and process improvements.
  • Is creative and innovative. You will be able to constructively challenge the way we work and draw on your own and other peoples’ skills and experience to deliver our work.
  • Can solve problems and deal with escalations. Proven ability to solve a range of problems, using available data and your own initiative referencing established procedures and processes and manage and respond to escalations.
