They support our people through strategic use of people technologies, Optimising, enhancing and delivering technology that helps underpin our people operations.
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Manager to help drive our suite of People Technology services across our business. We are particularly keen to attract people with product management experience.
Reporting to the Delivery and Innovation leader, your role will be to collaborate with key stakeholders within your domain, understand the suite of products and services and identify opportunities for optimisation.
You will need to manage a team of specialist business analysts to support them on understanding processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions. You will lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies using a design thinking approach. You will be expected to apply practical and creative problem solving and focus on understanding customer/business needs to come up with possible solutions and facilitate the implementation of those solutions.
You will prioritize stakeholder requirements, stakeholder engagement, and make decisions around the skills and capacity available in the team in order to deliver on commitments within agreed timeframes. It will also include providing on the job coaching, driving best practice across the team, and to act as a point of review and sign off for work undertaken (working along with other key stakeholders both within and outside of Business Solutions).
You will also be an escalation for incidents with the technology landscape, supporting stakeholder communication management, facilitating response teams and identifying root cause of issues, next steps and business continuity management.
For projects you will be responsible for ensuring the governance is followed for products and requirements are well tested.
Key Responsibilities
- Meeting with stakeholders to understand and review business objectives and project requirements
- Documenting the current 'As Is' using process maps and presenting back to stakeholders 'to be' and options papers for solutions
- Attending regular project meetings
