Performance & Data Analyst
£18.53 per hour
Carlisle
Full Time - 37 hours per week
Initially 6 months
Hybrid or Remote working. (Ideally you will still live within 1 hour of Carlisle.

Details of work to be carried out:
- Collation, interpretation, analysis and presentation of Performance and business intelligence data relating to Childrens Services in particular.
- Synthesising complex information into reports and visualisations and dashboards that allow easy interpretation and that drive improvement and insight.
- Collate and interpret service information for inclusion in statutory returns for Childrens Services.
- Support the disaggregation work of Childrens Social Care data (Liquildlogic system)
- Develop and design information reports, ensuring that the clients performance can be readily compared with local and national targets, nearest neighbours, family groups, and top performing authorities, and that trends in performance are readily available and understood.
Experience/skills we are looking for:
- Experience of extracting, manipulating, interpreting and using performance information
- Comfortable working with large databases and Data sets
- Experience of extracting and manipulating data using SQL-based interrogation tools or similar
- Experience using visualisation tools and techniques such as PowerBI.
- Desirable: Knowledge/experience of local authorities and Childrens Services data sets and systems
