As our first Performance, Data and Insights Lead within the Synergy Programme, you'll be able to influence huge change and make a lasting difference as we transform the administration of the Civil Service.
Your work will change how procurement works for the next 15 years, impacting over 50% of all Civil Servants - that's 230,000 people.
You'll join an established senior management team, using your performance, data, and Insights expertise to deliver end-to-end services for the Synergy Programme. You will influence decisions from design phase right through to live service.
You'll need adaptability and agility. The Synergy Programme operates in a fast-paced and complex environment.
If you're flexible, intuitive and comfortable taking high levels of volume, speed and complexity in your stride, come join the team and put help us put data at the heart of decisions and delivery in Synergy.
What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

  • Experience in designing and implementing a performance framework and strategy, with deep experience in data analysis and data governance (Lead Criteria)
  • Highly analytical, with excellent data, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills and experience
  • Skilled in translating complex data architecture matters into plain English, to enable rich discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Skilled in building impactful narratives of key trends, highlighting risks and opportunities, and driving continuous improvement in data capture and reporting methods to oversee performance
  • Experience and working knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL

You'll join us based at one of our brilliant digital hubs in either Blackpool, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield.
