Performance Manager
Our successful Performance Manager will lead a team of assessors to achieve the contractual performance requirements of the Apprenticeship Contract in accordance with working in partnership with the management team to deliver a seamless approach between performance and quality.
Salary Banding: £30,000 to £35,000.
Base: Itec House. Hybrid Working
Contract type: Full-time, permanent.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
What are the core responsibilities of this role?
· Accountable for driving performance and, in conjunction with the senior management team, continuously review and develop the delivery model and transform the operation, to ensure it meets the needs of all learners across all routes.
· Accountable for contractual compliance through quality measures and auditable processes.
· Responsible for effective team and caseload management providing updates and feedback on performance to the Contract Manager/Head of Apprenticeships.
· Responsible for working in partnership with the Quality team to implement all quality improvements such as the Estyn framework and Welsh action plan.
· Responsible for handling and escalating, as required, learner/employer complaints in line with internal policy.
· Responsible for managing a team of assessors to ensure that contractual compliance is achieved in both compliance and learner achievement.
· Accountable for conducting monthly 1-1’s with assessors to maximise performance, compliance, and training requirements, where under performance is identified an action plan needs to be completed to address area of concern.

Essential criteria
Previous management experience
Experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams
Full driving licence with use of own vehicle
Desirable criteria
Work based learning experience.
Management / Team Leading qualification or equivalent
Safeguarding experience
