Publicis Groupe has taken a bold step back to the future to create a single interdependent End-2-End client focused business team at Chancery Lane for Procter & Gamble. We are calling the single client platform PG One. The high performing operation brings the entire P&G resource within the Groupe into one place – this includes creative (Saatchi, Leo Burnett, Publicis WW), data (Digitas) media, search, SEO and Social. Role Summary
A digital performance planner responsible for creating multi-channel digital investment plans based on a bottom-up planning approach, and making fluid adjustments to these throughout campaigns based on channel performance. Fundamentally, the performance planner is responsible for ensuring that the assigned performance marketing budget works as hard as possible to deliver against aligned KPI’s.
The Performance Planner is set to become a valuable addition to the European Performance team, consisting of over 15 UK-based individuals. This role will primarily center on P&G's Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business unit, encompassing Oral B and Braun DTC accounts spread across six different markets.
This role will act as the primary point of contact with the client for all correspondence related to performance media for their respective brand remit. The performance planner will be integral in driving P&G’s evolution in performance marketing, and will therefore benefit from an understanding of the role of performance marketing within the broader context of FMCG and offline media planning.
On the agency-side, the performance planner will be responsible for coordinating campaigns with channel specialists (buyers) spanning a variety of digital touchpoints including: social, programmatic, search, shopping and affiliates. Hands-on experience managing one or more of these touchpoints will be beneficial to this role.
Key to success in this role will be delivering on a central performance framework, with consistent cross media KPI, and looking at how to drive innovation through new data sources & technologies. The performance planner will have access to a cross-channel performance dashboard in order to derive insights, strategic implications & testing hypotheses from the available data, to be aligned with the client and then rolled out across digital touchpoints.
Core Role responsibilities:
- Upon briefing, work with channel specialists to design digital media performance plans to deliver on P&G’s performance KPI’s.
- Manage campaign activations with channel specialists to ensure KPI’s are met or surpassed.
- Analyse performance data, make fast changes to plans & provide strategic recommendations to the client to drive results further.
- Constantly seek to innovate, whether it be via new strategies, technologies or ways of working.
Qualifications

- Solid experience in biddable media planning and/or activation
- Passionate about and engaged with the fast-changing world of performance marketing.
- Experience in project managing complex activations spanning several stakeholders both internal and external to the company.
- Exemplary track record in managing budgets and booking finance.

- Aptitude to build and maintain strong working relationships whilst positively influencing those around you.
