Corporate Services Group / Sport & Exercise / Pleasance Sports Complex & Gym

Part-time: 8 hours per week

Fixed term: 33 weeks (2nd Sept 2024 – 20th April 2025)

Do you have experience of Performance Sport as an athlete? Would you like to gain work experience that will enhance your employability? We are looking to appoint a Performance Sport Intern for the academic year 2024-25. Training, mentoring and experience across the full range of Performance Sport services will be available alongside identified CPD opportunities.

Candidates must understand the importance of team culture and demonstrate how their contribution will make a positive impact. Candidates must possess a passion for and experience of Performance Sport.

The Opportunity:

Working 8 hours flexibly across the week you will work alongside the Performance Sport staff to support all aspects of the Performance Sport Programme at Edinburgh.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Experience of working in sport or an administrative role
  • Understanding of the demands and challenges faced by student athletes
  • Enthusiam to provide a fantastic environment for student athletes at Edinburgh
