PERMANENT VACANCY - September Start - Full-Time
TAMESIDE, Greater Manchester
Connex Education are supporting a partner school with their recruitment of a permanent Teacher of Science to commence with them this September 2024 on a direct OR supply contract which will be full-time.
The school in question is a small faith school based in central Tameside who cater for around 800 students aged 11 - 16 and who have a current Good Ofsted rating which remained upon a second visit had in September 2023.
They are looking for a dynamic team player who would like a committed teaching role full-time who has an interest in teaching KS3 Sciences and will be able to provide a GCSE specialism of any science subject.
Interviews will take place immediately following any successful CV's submitted by Connex Education; at this time we can only consider specialists who have a PGCE and UK teaching experience.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified Teacher with QTS and experience delivering Science across KS3 and KS4.
- Be someone with drive and ambition who will challenge, inspire and motivate our students.
- You will be a highly dynamic individual who consistently delivers innovative teaching and, where possible, has a proven track record of outstanding progress in external examinations
- Be enthusiastic and motivated with a passion for your subject and an ability to inspire students
- Be committed to delivering high standards of teaching and learning
- Be open to new ideas, committed to working as part of a team, flexible and of course have a good sense of humour.
- Have strong moral and ethical principles and values
- Be able to adapt and respond appropriately to challenging situations
- Act with the utmost integrity at all times.

Successful candidates will be required to conduct an interview and complete a vetting process which includes an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS.
