Maintenance Team

PERMIT OFFICE COORDINATOR
Ref: MC66

Starting salary from £24,715 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £28,131 per annum.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Permit Office Coordinator to join the Estates and Facilities Directorate.

Key duties of the role include assisting the Permit Office Manager in coordinating and reviewing activities carried out by contractors on the university campus. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all current and outstanding work approvals are tracked and stored appropriately.

You’ll conduct and manage pre-checks to ensure the compliance of all work requests submitted to the Permit Office before issuing Authority to Work. This involves reviewing documentation and verifying that all the necessary information is provided.

Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and organising this documentation, and its filing system within the Permit Office database.

You’ll need to have 5 passes at GCSE grade A-C, including Mathematics and English, or equivalent qualifications or experience. You will also need experience of keeping records to ensure compliance and proven IT skills for the input and maintenance of the Permit Office database

This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
