**About Me **

**My name is Abbie 28 and I enjoy, crochet, knitting, going for coffee, shopping, fitness and Swimming. **
**I also like to go on trips to Brecon on occasion. **
**My requirement for a PA would predominantly be for taking me for trips out and making sure I am safe.**

**Days and Hours of Work **
****
**Abbie would like to split the time over 2 days, swimming and shopping would be at the top of the list.**
**Abbie is not fussed on the days, but she volunteers at the Library on a Monday afternoon and has Slimming World on a Tuesday. So Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday would be **
**the days she would choose. **
**Abbie may not want to do the same thing on the same day at the same time so the PA will need to be a bit flexible although this should be something that Abbie and the PA should be able to arrange.**

** *on an ad-hoc basis to cover annual leave / absence and additional needs as they arise, so flexibility is required of the successful applicant.* **

**Rate of Pay**
****
**£10.90 per hour (Real Living Wage) (before tax and NI) **

**Tasks and Duties **
* **** **Keep me company and help with my getting from A to B **
* ** Help me with some personal care tasks, such as supervising/helping me when going swimming/gym. **
* ** Help to transport me to and from the places I like to go to.**

**Type of Person Required**
* ** Dependable and honest.**
* ** Will respect the privacy and confidentiality of working as a PA. **
* ** Sense of humor would be helpful. **
* ** Non-judgmental attitude. **
* ** Energetic and must like spending lots of time outdoors. **
* ** Calm, patient and confident. **
* ** A person who is observant and proactive. **
* ** A person who possesses a genuine kind, and caring nature. **
* ** A person with a full driving license and the ability to get to and from my home. **
* ** A person that will respect my individuality and that of other members of the team. **
* ** Previous experience of working with people with Cerebral Palsy (walking difficulties). **

**Training **

**Previous experience of working with individuals with Cerebral Palsy**
**First aid, ** **induction training will be provided.**

**About The Job **

* **** **Salary Frequency Every 4 weeks - By BACS. **
****
* ** Holiday Allowance and Pension available. **
****
* ** Successful applicant will be subject to a three-month trial period. **
****
* ** DBS check will be required; this will be at no cost to yourself. **
