Job Overview:
I am seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to a lady in need of Personal Care services. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with their daily activities and ensuring their well-being. Responsibilities:
- Awareness of autism and Aspergers
- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, and dressing
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Prepare meals
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings as needed, shopping
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to the appropriate parties
Requirements:
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if required for transportation)
- Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining professionalism
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with client
