Personal Care Assistant for a young boy P/T@ £13.09/hr in Blyth - FTE - £25.5k

I am autistic with ADHD and Chromosome Deletion, so I need a little bit more help than other boys my age. I need a Support Worker who is committed to the role, can be flexible on their availability more so in school holidays and is interested in similar things to me.
I do need help, on occasion, with toileting and it is very important you are happy to help me with this during our time together.
My mum will help you understand what support I need. I love gaming, especially Minecraft and fantasy style video games. I can teach you how to play these if you don’t know. I really enjoy being active, especially trampolining and swimming – this has to be fun swimming with lots of splashing and laughing!
I am turning into a grown up person and would like somebody to come to Starbucks for a ‘coffee’ with me after our fun activities. I don't like to visit anywhere too loud or busy; sports and crafts are not things I enjoy.
I need somebody who can adapt to my responses to scenarios e.g. I’m not keen on losing when playing so being able to help me with this would be a huge advantage. To be the right person for this role you have to be FUN, enjoy laughing and be keen to get involved and play things I would like to do. I might need your help to get used to you initially, so please just give me time and space.
