An opportunity has arisen for a Personal Injury newly qualified solicitor to join the catastrophic injury team.
The position is to start in September 2024.
This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a highly respected team. The role will involve supporting one of the partners within the catastrophic injury team. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to build up their own caseload of fast and intermediate-track cases, both litigated and non-litigated.
The role includes assisting on all aspects of catastrophic injury litigation, including drafting pleadings in multi-million-pound cases, instructing counsel and liaising with some of the country’s leading medical experts. The role affords an excellent opportunity to develop a range of skills and contacts essential for anyone wanting to progress in this area of law.
The ideal candidate will be bright, articulate and enthusiastic about pursuing a career in catastrophic Personal Injury litigation. They must have a positive, compassionate attitude towards individuals with disabilities, and a genuine desire to help better the lives of people with injuries of the utmost severity.
Previous experience of assisting a catastrophic injury solicitor/partner is preferable but not essential. A good degree mark (a solid 2:1 or above) is required from a good university.
There are 48 members of the department, including 8 partners, who work out of the firm’s Camden office. The department is ranked as one of London’s leading Personal Injury teams in both the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners.
