Personal Lines Insurance Manager

We are looking for Personal Lines Manager to join the team based in the local office in the Bridgwater area. This is a full time, permanent post with a competitive salary around £40,000 depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the team leaders within the Personal Lines side of the branch and ensure that new business and renewals targets are met.

Responsibilities include;

• Deliver against KPI’s and targets set around renewal retention, new business targets and contribute towards overall targets
• Management of budget and debt management and collecting
• Ensure underperforming employees are supported with HR and performance managed
• Carry out any quarterly and annual meetings with team members
• Manage and prioritise work effectively and communicate with wider team
• Liaise with line manager regarding recruitment levels

The successful candidate must have;

• Previous experience working within Personal Lines and managing a team of advisers
• An ability to develop key relationships
•  Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• An interest and ability to follow the market and identify potential forecasts trends
• Excellent attention to detail
• An approachable personality who is cooperative and supportive
• Analytical approach and ability to present reports
